Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Analyst to join our team in Nashik. This critical role will analyze business performance through both operating and financial metrics, providing insights that drive business decisions, improve efficiency, and enhance profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Performance Analysis:

   • Measure and analyze key operating and financial metrics.
   • Track and report on performance indicators such as revenue, costs, profit margins, and other KPIs.
   • Conduct variance analysis to understand deviations from budget and forecast.

2. Financial Modeling & Forecasting:

   • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
   • Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans.

3. Data Management:

   • Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
   • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting.

4. Business Insights:

   • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
   • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and efficiency improvements.

5. Reporting:

   • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management and stakeholders.
   • Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate performance metrics clearly.

6. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with various departments, including finance, sales, marketing, and operations, to gather necessary information and ensure alignment on business objectives.
   • Support cross-functional projects with analytical expertise.

7. Continuous Improvement:

   • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance measurement and financial analysis.
   • Implement and maintain best practices for commercial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proven experience (4+ years) in commercial analysis, financial analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business metrics.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and ERP systems is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
